restless much?

Another layout. I'm tired of the stick man and the layout was too big, it ran off the edge of the screen when it wasn't meant to.

Now I have kitty. I drew him, he's my welcoming neko. We'll see how long he lives here.

got to admit it's getting better

So I had a good time at Book Club. I'ma have to make Dr. Pepper cake ASP.

Bah, I need to learn dance moves. It's fun though.

I hung out with Greg on Saturday. The highlight of the evening was playing Halo. I finally figured out how to get past the point I was stuck at. Turns out you have to flip some switch so you don't just fall off the edge. No wonder that gap was so big.

I wanna play Halo now.

Meh. I'm so bored these days.

This laptop is awesome. I'm going to have much fun at Boulder. Speaking of which, I think I've decided on my class schedule. The school of engineering wants you to take, like, fifty billion classes (ok, 5) and it's too much. I wanted to take both Spanish and Japanese but it'd be way too much. And I'm gonna skip the science until next summer or something. I should get a bunch of credits from IB and AP anyway. It's just for the four year guarantee, which I don't care about anyway. So, yeah, but as it is I should have, like, four classes (one of them only meets once a week), which is pretty neat. I'm liking it. It's 14 credit hours, too, which I think is pretty respectable; the average is supposed to be 16 to graduate in 4 years, and if I'm going to take classes over the summer than that's that. I'd like to take it easy for once.

So here are my desired classes:

CSCI 1300 - Comp Sci I: Programming
CSCI 2830 - Sp Tps-Intro Comp Sci
APPM 2350 - Calculus 3 for Engineers
JPNS 1010 - Beginning Japanese I

Should be fun. The Calc 3 should be an easy A (at least, I hope so), the Japanese shall be fun and profitable, the programming course will probably be C++ and therefore easy, and the special topics thing will be, if nothing else, not very time consuming either.

Bah. That's all, I guess.

eh, well, whatever

current song: Travis - Quicksand

I'm in a better mood now.

"Updating... 70% done"

Apparently this summer I'm doing my own laundry. This is good, I need the practice of doing it regularly.

Yesterday Nikki and I hung out and all was good.

I've now seen Shrek 2 three times.

I've finished part one. Now to read the play.

"Updating... 74% done"

My tennis lesson today was cancelled due to inclement weather.

I wonder what CD I should buy next?

I still want new glasses, but I guess I don't care as much anymore.

My watchband has lost one of its gemstones. How sad. I hope I can fix it.

I like rainy mornings like this. I hope the weather stays this way.

"Updating... 79% done"

My laptop is downloading Asheron's Call. It's taking quite a while to update.

le sigh

Bah. I haven't talked to him in a week, but I kinda miss him. I kinda feel guilty. I'm not sure I appreciate him enough. I don't appreciate any of them enough.

Book club on Friday, which is cool. I'm not as excited as I thought I'd be. I just kind of feel like I don't belong anymore. Almost as if I used to, but I've done stuff that's, I don't know, forbidden, and I've pushed myself out somehow. I hate this feeling.

I especially feel bad about him, because I don't think I ever tried as much as I thought I did, and certainly not as much as I should have. It drives me crazy sometimes when I think about how crazy I was about him and how little, really, I did to make things work. I always thought he didn't do anything, but he did. Too late now, though.

And I feel bad about the current situation, because sometimes he makes me so happy, but sometimes I just feel so restless and bored, and I shouldn't, and then I feel guilty.

They both deserve better than me, I guess. Hopefully in college I'll work some stuff out so I can not only find the guy I want, but do my part.

Man, I still need to read and return Cyrano. I'm so terrible at returning stuff I've borrowed.

Well, that's enough depression. Maybe it's the rain, even though I love it. Sometimes I wonder if I love it because it makes me depressed. Sometimes depression is good, because, if nothing else, it's a strong emotion.

Time to do some reading.
