hallelujah, I love her so

So, my chipotle craving went unanswered last night and I am not displeased.

Instead of going out to chipotle... we went to Red Lobster. Yum. Where, as a change of pace, I ordered something other than the cajun chicken garlic alfredo linguine with a caesar salad and mom's mashed potatoes... I ordered the shrimp trio, which came with cajun shrimp garlic alfredo linguine, as well as fried shrimp and shrimp scampi and a potato. (Which I gave to mom, as she had automatically ordered mashed potatoes already. haha.) And I still got my caesar salad. Next time, though, I'll either get the regular old cajun chicken pasta, or I'll go for lemon pepper and popcorn shrimp. I love lemon pepper. They're awesome.

But enough rambling about dinner! The real excitement of last evening's outing came before dinner (gasp). We went to microcenter and purchased... a laptop! *sings* Happy graduation to me, happy graduation to me..

It's quite cool. It was sitting right next to the uber-light, (uber-expensive), uber-small laptop daddy was interested in. For less than half the price. It's originally $1050 (already decent) with a $150 instant rebate and a $100 mail in rebate, which I'm going to have to do. I don't care. It's cool! And now it works, with a better wireless connection than my crappy desktop!

Oh, I take it back. I love my desktop to death. But it'll have to stay here at home while I'm away in college. I hope it doesn't miss me too much.
